Rick Bologna

Rick Bologna is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and is a former retail business owner. He relocated his family to Austin after Hurricane Katrina and had the privilege of serving Archbishop Gregory Aymond as his Executive Assistant until Archbishop Aymond was appointed to the Archdiocese of New Orleans in 2009.

Rick led and managed HR and Talent Acquisition departments at two Austin technology startups that specialized in supply chain software and artificial intelligence verticals. He built successful HR and recruitment teams in the technology sector. Rick touched people’s lives through understanding their skill sets and abilities. This allowed for proper placement of new hires into roles where they would drive impact for the organization while fostering professional and personal growth within the individual. 

As the new Stores Director, Rick is excited to bring his wealth of retail and people experience to serve and fulfill the mission of the SSVDP.
